Yes. Every Badger Mod is individually hand assembled rather than mass produced as a finished watch. Components are inspected throughout the build process for fit, finish, and alignment, and each completed watch goes through final quality control before shipping.

Badger Mods uses a variety of proven automatic and specialty watch movements depending on the build. These include NH34 GMT, NH35, NH36, NH38, NH70, NH71, NH72, Miyota 8285, and VK63 meca-quartz chronograph movements. Movement selection depends on the functions and design of each custom watch.

Yes. Every automatic watch movement is tested on a timegrapher before shipping to help verify that the movement is healthy and operating properly. Each completed watch also receives a final quality-control inspection for operation, alignment, cleanliness, fit, and overall finish before it leaves Badger Mods.

Yes. Once your custom watch is completed, Badger Mods sends photos of your actual finished watch before shipment. You can review the details, finish, alignment, and overall appearance of the watch we built for you before it is packaged and shipped. No stock photos and no surprises.

Most Badger Mods custom watches are completed and shipped within 3 to 4 weeks of order confirmation. Because every custom watch is built to order, build time can vary depending on component availability and the level of customization. If a specific component causes a significant delay, we will contact you with an updated timeline.

Yes. Custom watch builds are a major part of what we do. We will work with you to create a custom watch built around your vision.

Components vary by design, but a custom Badger Mod may include a stainless steel case, sapphire crystal, custom or aftermarket dial, hands, bezel, bracelet or strap, and an automatic, GMT, skeleton, day-date, or chronograph movement. Components are selected to match the specifications and style of each individual build.

Many of the watch cases we use are advertised by their manufacturers as having water-resistance ratings such as 3 ATM. However, Badger Mods does not dry pressure test each completed watch after assembly, so we do not make or guarantee a specific water-resistance rating on our custom watches.

If water resistance is an important part of what you need from a watch, we recommend choosing a factory-produced watch from a major manufacturer that pressure tests and certifies the completed watch to a stated water-resistance standard.

We would rather be transparent about what we test than make a water-resistance claim we cannot independently verify. We recommend keeping Badger Mods watches away from swimming, showering, bathing, saunas, and full submersion in water.

Every Badger Mods watch includes a 1-year limited warranty covering qualifying movement issues and craftsmanship defects under normal use. Damage caused by misuse, impact, improper handling, water exposure, unauthorized modification, or normal wear is not considered a craftsmanship or manufacturing defect.
